Have you ever woken up one day and thought… “Who even am I anymore?”

S3 E5 When Life Shakes Who You Think You Are – The Soulie Insider

Have you ever woken up one day and thought… “Who even am I anymore?”

In this episode of The Soulie Insider, I’m talking about what happens when life shakes you so hard that the confident, steady version of you feels like a total stranger. Whether it’s parenting shifts, relationship endings, or even retirement, those moments can strip back everything you thought you knew about yourself.

I’ll walk you through simple, grounding practices to help you recalibrate when your confidence feels like it’s slipped through your fingers. You’ll learn how to use pen-to-paper exercises to remember your worth, why sitting in the “grey space” of not knowing is where the biggest growth happens, and how to begin reconnecting with yourself without rushing to fix everything.

This is a conversation for the high-functioning women, the soulies who look steady on the outside but inside feel the chaos of nervous system dysregulation, burnout, or survival mode. If you’ve ever thought “Why can’t I relax?” or “What if I’ve outgrown this version of me?” This episode is your reminder that you’re not broken, you’re just being asked to re-meet yourself.

At the end, I’ll share a little “homework” to help you start celebrating your wins, owning your resilience, and re-learning to love yourself right where you’re at.

I’d love to know… has life ever shaken you so much that you didn’t recognise yourself anymore? Come and share with me over on Instagram @gaylewilson_, I’d love to hear your story.
